Sometimes Sharepoint surprise us when we click hash tags in Newsfeed part with the error when clicked. It says something went wrong. You can consider below options to solve this.

 

This occurs usually if you search configuration is corrupted

or

If your search app pool is off in IIS.

Please check search app pool in IIS and start it. Then it will work as usually
